6 Awesome, Creative, and Fun Project Kit Boxes for Elementary Age Homeschool

Keeping elementary age homeschool kids busy with wholesome and helpful activities is, itself, a full time job. That’s one reason Rounded Schoolhouse exists…to give parents a break!

While curriculum and learning programs are great, kids often need more hands on experiences.

Enter the kit box!

In this post, we’re going to evaluate a bunch of available kit boxes and tell you which ones we think are worth your time and money.

KiwiCo STEM, STEAM, and Science Kits for Kids

I’m starting the list with this one because it’s a favorite in our home. Our kids love KiwiCo boxes! They have tons of options for every age and skill level.

KiwiCo works primarily as a monthly kit for a single child. You choose the line, which is the activity type plus the age of your child, and then the boxes come every month!

Home Science Tools

This is a fantastic option for one-off boxes instead of a monthly subscription. These kits are serious and they give you everything you need to pull of an amazing science learning experience.

One reason we love this kit is that you can more easily match the kit to what your child is learning at the time. Is your child learning about electricity? Get the Electrolyte Challenge Sensor Kit!
